Contemporary Summer Launch!

Hello everyone! Welcome to our Contemporary Summer event! For one month, Cait from The Cait Files and I will be celebrating contemporary YA fiction with reviews, giveaways, interviews and guest posts! We hope you'll stick around to see what we have in store!

To start things off, we have two giveaways! (Yay!) The first giveaway is for a set of Ally Carter books. That's  Gallagher Girls 1-4 SIGNED, Gallagher Girls 5, Heist Society and Uncommon Criminals! I'm a huge, huge fan of Ally Carter (as is Cait), and I can't recommend her books enough. This giveaway is UK only, however, never fear, because the second giveaway is international (open to wherever The Book Depository ships) and is for any YA contemp book for £10 or under. Enter below!

We also have a competition to see which is the most popular YA contemp! You can nominate your favourite YA contemps by filling in the form below, and the nominations will be tallied at the end of the event, where we'll be posting the winner and nine runners up! You can nominate up to ten books (leave title and author, please) and there are no restrictions other than the book must be a YA contemp title. So, nominate away!

Thanks for taking part, and we hope everyone enjoys the event we have planned! I'll be back tomorrow with a list of my top ten favourite contemporary novels.

  1. Thanks and this sounds like a fun event :)

  2. YOU GIRLS ROCK ROCK ROCK!! This is so awesome. I just nominated my Top 10, which was both difficult, yet easy. DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?! Probably not. Though maybe I should have waited, since I'm reading Pushing the Limits at the moment and people are raving about that, so I wonder if it will bump any off my list? :P

    Thanks for the awesome giveaway!!

  3. I so had to nominate Pushing the Limits. Awesome, awesome book. Thanks for the chance. Donna xoxox

  4. I would like to thank you for a fantastic book giveaway, that i would love to have the oportunity of reading & reviewing!

The young adult genre is so diverse and full of great works of fiction, that it makes it hard to choose. x
