For seventeen years, Eloise Hart had no idea the world of Faery even existed. Now she has been abducted and trapped in the Rath of Lord Strahan, King of Faery. Strahan was only meant to rule for seven years, as Faery tradition dictates, and then give up his crown to another. But he won't comply, and now chaos threatens both worlds.

The only one who can break his stranglehold on the Faery court is his wife. . . Eloise's aunt Antonia. Using Eloise to lure Antonia, Strahan captures his wife, desperate to end the only threat to his reign. Now Eloise must become the rescuer. Together with her best friends Jo and Devin, she must forge alliances with other Fae, including a gorgeous protector named Lucas, and Strahan's mysterious son, Eldric-who may or may not betray them. I really enjoyed Haunting Violet by Alyxandra Harvey, so I'm really looking forward to this one! (Haven't started the Drake Chronicles series yet, but it's on my tbr ;]). I'm also a huge fan of faery books, so I am doubly intrigued. Especially by this Eldric person - I love reading a book and not knowing which characters to trust :P. Plus, isn't the UK cover gorgeous? Simple, but pretty.

What are you waiting on this week?

  1. Yea! I, too, very much enjoyed Haunting Violet. I'm so excited to see the cover for this one. Excellent choice. :-)

  2. This one sounds so good. I love her Drake Chronicles series so I hope I'll love this one as well. Great pick!

  3. WOW always ends up freaking me out because I find all these awesome books I've never even heard of and there's no way I'd ever have time to read them all. I haven't read a lot of faerie books, but I might have to start! Do you know if this is the beginning of a series?

    WOW @

  4. YES! I am so excited for Stolen Aweay!!

  5. And by Aweay I meant Away. ;)

  6. This sounds great! Thanks for sharing.

  7. Have to say I love the UK cover better than the US. So pretty! Really looking forward to this. I need more fey novels in my bookshelf!

  8. Was just reading about this yesterday. I'm not a fan of the fae, but since I like Alyx Harvey's stuff I might give this one a whirl! :)

  9. I haven't read anything about this author yet. I hadn't heard from her before I saw this book on another WoW yesterday. Sounds cool though.
